When Galago Security (now an OCS Group company) commissioned a suite of marketing materials to promote their new brand, I designed and developed this interactive screensaver as part of that suite.

I was given a fairly open brief — I needed to come up with something that was interactive and could be delivered on CD-ROM along with Galago's new promotional showreel. Most improtantly, the piece needed to reflect the company's brand image, which centered around the concept of 'Peace of Mind'.

I worked with members of the creative team at RE:MEDIA to come up with several ideas which we validated with the client. The chosen candidate was this concept around a Newton's cradle, whose steady, rythmic ticking perfectly represented the 'Peace of Mind' message.

The Newton's cradle is fully interactive with realistic physics. After a period of inactivity, it switches to a more traditional screensaver with floating Galago logos.

I designed and developed the screensaver in Flash with resources created in 3DS MAX and Photoshop
